According to Unicef, 600,000 children live on the streets of Ethiopia. These children grow up rejected and often lonely. Their safety, development and future is constantly in danger because of conflicts, abuse and exploitation. With your support Let Us Change Ethiopia provides a safe haven where children like Meskerem can just be children and grow up to be strong adults.

A home for ex-street children since 2009

Let Us Change was founded in 2009 by the Ethiopian Aynalem Wolde Amanuel and Leuven resident Johan Vandenbossche. Today their organization provides a home and future for vulnerable children in Ethiopia. They do this through total care for almost 100 street children in 3 homes, tailored support for 40 families and local strengthening through jobs, basic services and medical assistance. Let Us Change grew thanks to the support of many volunteers, sympathizers and partner organizations in Belgium, the Netherlands, America and Italy.
