Let Us Change consists of a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Ethiopia and a non-profit association (vzw) in Belgium.
Let Us Change Ethiopia (NGO)
The Ethiopian NGO was recognized by the Ethiopian government in 2009. Since then, the NGO has provided a place where street children get the opportunities they never had: healthy food to grow, a safe home to sleep and a great school to play and learn.
In addition to the shelter homes, the NGO is committed to prison children, beggars and 40 underprivileged families in the region. She also generates income for the homes and creates jobs for underprivileged people with their own weaving mill and a bakery.
Let Us Change Ethiopia (vzw)
The Belgian non-profit organisation (vzw) was founded in 2011 to support the Ethiopian NGO financially and advisory. It is the largest source of external income for the NGO and the link between the NGO and its Western sponsors in countries such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and America.
The aim of the non-profit organization is mainly fundraising and raising awareness of the issues in Ethiopia in the form of project applications, events and awareness-raising activities.
